Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do something

On my Home office desk I have a wonderfully inspiring quote/excerpt of text. Its not a quote by Twain, or some rhetoric by Lincoln, its not even a folksy inspiration by my hero Ben Franklin. The most inspiring text I have on my desk is below and it simply says:

Poor Build
Skinny
Lacks great physical stature and strength
Lacks mobility
Lacks a really strong arm
Can’t drive a team down the field

Why is this inspiring? This is what is reported to be on Quarterback Tom Brady’s NFL combine report! (how they assess prospects to the NFL), the so called ‘tangibles’ which so many decisions are made, but it doesn’t measure, intangibles, like heart, spirit, determination and courage and just sometimes that can mean a whole lot more.

Remember this, If you want a thing bad enough to go out and fight for it, to work day and night for it, to give up your time, your peace and sleep for it… if all that you dream and scheme is about it, YOU WILL GET IT!
