Diving in

One of the most scary things you can do is diving into water from a distance. To stand there and to lean forward til there is no turning back. This is real life commitment in the making, right then. One minute, you’re standing still, staring at the water below, and then you’re fully committed to make the leap of faith head first.

What you cannot do from this point is try not to dive, or pull away. Any panic or second guess and you are in for a whole lot of hurt.

Once you climbed up to the diving board and walked out to the edge or climbed up the rock face to look at the ocean below you made the decision. Everyone is watching now.

No one would have judged you for saying no early on but thats it now. You are up here. You are on the edge and you are fully committed to dive in.

It is the moment when you consider leaning back and climbing down that you should feel the most alive. When the resistance must be resisted.

Lean forward, head down and fully commit.
