Where the focus goes the energy flows

Today I build on one of my most popular posts ‘Got to do, get to do’ I often hear people say “I’ve got to do this or that” as a complaint. They don’t realize the negative energy that flows from their words.

  • I’ve got to wash the dishes
  • I’ve got to get up this morning
  • I’ve got to go to work

It is nonsense, the only thing we have got to do in life is die, the rest of life is choice and consequence. The negative energy from labelling a task as ’got to do’ makes it worse. When you know life has allowed you a ‘get to do’ you bring positive energy.

  1. In a similar vein, I find that all that we have is the present. And all our biggest dreams lie in the actions we take right now. Not tomorrow, not when you finish paying your debt, not after you have your last drink. Thanks for this perspective!
