Be prepared, but not for the reason you think

Preparation prevents poor performance they say, but let me share with you a seldom shared reason why preparation will make you more happier and successful. If we can prepare better than it will leave us at peace and with energy for the next challenge. I have looked and cannot see this perspective shared anywhere so I think it is a quick read with a worthy ROI.

The better you prepare for something the quicker you can forget about it afterwards. We dwell on the bad experiences, that with which we revisit over and over again. It haunts our next project, it takes away from our family time, it damages our self esteem. The internalised awareness that we did not do everything to prepare and so fell short of our best.

When we truly prepare and do our best it leaves our mind free to concentrate on new things, new ideas, new opportunities.
