Day one or one day, you decide

I have posted in my blog at Seastheday.blog 120 days in a row. I wanted to write regularly for years but just kept saying one day I will start. When you start things that are totally new for you there is a tendency to to feel like you cannot be effective without the full information or knowledge that you are missing. That which will help you be effective.

Knowledge is great, it is key and you must seek it and manage it to be anything however, it does not and will never replace great execution. That can be done day 1 or day 1001.

A determined book salesman once told a farmer that ‘a set of books on scientific agriculture’ would teach him to farm better. To which the farmer replied: ‘Hell, son, I don’t farm half as good as I know how.’

Unknown

I think about the above story whenever I’m about to fall into the trap of thinking I need more knowledge, when usually I just need better execution. As I consider this Blog I will remember that story and just keep writing.
